Mymo

Designers Rosa Hamalainen and Andy Cartier have developed modular cupboard, allowing the moulds to actually remain part of the final object.

These mycelium modular blocks have two functions: a cupboard space and a partition wall. Each block can be stacked in 8 different positions and the wavy pattern always connects to the next block. These circular products can be easily taken apart and be rebuilt somewhere else.

Our current lifestyle exceeds  planetary boundaries

Our planet suffers under the consumption habits of the population. Working on reducing our consumption, to reduce the stress we put on Mother Earth, is everybody’s first priority. But in situations where we really need to buy something, lets do that responsibly.

Our MycoComposite™ product offers a way to bring sustainability and design together, and create products that can close the loop.

Good design is timeless…
But our needs and tastes are not.

‘a table that is no longer big enough for the family..’
‘a lamp that does not suit the concept of the living room..’
‘a chair that your son doesn’t want in his first home..’

Reuse, repurpose, recycle are all great options if only there wasn’t an ever increasing amount of new furniture.
